Jimmy

The Idea was to create new and appealing Information Displays for each animal in the Zoo, so it would be more easy for children to spot the and to develop interest to read the fun facts. For this purpose we chose a mascot of the zoo, Jimmy, one of the Capuchin monkeys.

In Adobe Photoshop, I first had to try to capture his facial features and how I can stylize them.

In the end we pitched this illustrative style but out of financial reasons, the project got canceled. Nevertheless, I still like this character design that was created during the process.
